" I would encourage you in your desire to ensure that the best of
contemporary architecture engages with the challenges of providing symbols of hope and transcendence to religious communities today with your new languages..."

This generic design was presented in Rome before senior officials in the leadership of the Catholic Church in 2007.

The inspiration for the structure was derived from the body of an oyster, which in itself was designed to protect and nurture the precious pearl developing within it. Thus, this cathedral expresses the pure belief, which nurtures the believers during assembly for prayer. In this way, the structure serves the believers by creation of a space intensifying the emotional experience and spiritual elevation at prayer time.
